LeVar Burton is an actor, director, educator & cofounder of the award-winning Skybrary App, host.
He’s also a lifelong children’s literacy advocate. Burton is known for his roles as Kunta Kinte in the ABC miniseries Roots, Lt. Commander Geordi La Forge in Star Trek: The Next Generation, and as host of the PBS Kids educational television series Reading Rainbow for more than 23 years.
